Catherine L. (Adray) Hammoud, M.S. Spec. Ed.


Mrs. Hammoud has a prolific background in education with over 42 years of experience as a classroom teacher. She has taught in many different classroom environments and countries including the United States, Kuwait, Lebanon, and Abu Dhabi.

A Martha Jennings Scholar, Mrs. Hammoud holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Toledo and received her Masters of Education, in Special Education from Purdue University. She continued to further education during her career and has received many certificates and additional education credits.

Mrs. Hammoud has been a member of the Islamic community from birth. She has been involved with and chaired a number of committees throughout her career. She has been involved with ISGT since its inception and was a member of the ISGT’s original Board of Trustees. She served as the past president and secretary of BoT of ISGT and is a current member of BoT. 

Her vast experience as a mentor and her caring and creative approach to education was recognized by her peers with the Outstanding Team Work Award.

Mrs. Hammoud believes in keeping the lines of communication open among staff, students, and parents.  She looks forward to fostering an environment at the ISGT that is dedicated to helping each student attain his or her full potential.


Fadia Abouelaila 
School Administrator

Fadia Abouelaila has long been a champion of the ISGT and was the school’s Principal for several years before moving into her current role as the School Administrator. Prior to her involvement with the ISGT, Fadia was the Guidance Director at Jones, Junior High School and was an Instructor at The University of Toledo, where she taught educational methods classes. A community leader, she was a Girl Scout Leader and the President of the Trustees of the Aurora Gonzales Community and Family Center.  Fadia is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Islamic Center of Greater Toledo, where she has served on the council and executive committee and is the director of the weekend school. Fadia holds a Master of Guidance and Counseling and a Bachelor of Business Education. 





Khadiga Al-Jari 

Khadiga Al-Jabri is the face of the ISGT having been its dedicated secretary for more than 4 years. Originally from Tripoli, Libya, Miss Khadiga is a graduate of St. Joseph Academy in Adrian, Michigan. She also attended the University of Toledo where she studied biology in a pre-med program. Miss Khadiga enjoys working with children and loves watching them grow and discover new things, and the children love her! In her free time, Miss Khadiga likes taking long walks, bird watching and exploring nature.
